Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs)

The aim of Parent Teacher Associations is to foster better relationships between parents and their children's schools. A PTA creates a partnership which helps the school listen to and deal with parents' concerns; and for parents to learn more about the school and how to improve their children's education. The PTA can be an excellent forum for communication and a basis for a partnership between parents and schools.

As a PTA, you are also likely to be engaged in helping your school fundraising for improving the school or the school environment. My Nametags is working with a number of individual PTA organisations, helping them raise funds by coordinating the collection of nametags orders. There is no cost to distribute our order forms, and you do not have to register (just make sure that any orders are clearly marked with the school or PTA name and postcode).

Our standard set of name tags costs £9.95, and includes 75 iron-on name tags and 75 sticker labels.

As an example, if your Friends of the school association collects 20 orders and send them to us, we will pay £20 back to the PTA or Friends group. Please call us on 0800 3 213 203 or email us if you have any questions.

Fundraising

My Nametags can help you raise funds for your school, nursery, PTA or playgroup. If you organise the collection of orders and send it to us, it saves us on postage and work, and we are happy to pass these savings to you as fundraising. We will give you a cheque for £1 per order!

As an example, if a school collects 18 sets of orders and sends them to us, we will return a cheque for £18 to the school, the PTA or a charity of your choice.
